# Dark / Light Mode

This guide applies to Scope, Thoughts, Feed, Moment, Aspect, OnFlow, Thesis, and Format.

The theme comes with a built-in color scheme switcher.

## Change default color scheme

Follow these steps to change default color scheme:

1. Go to **Settings → Site → Design & branding**
1. Click **Customize → Theme → Site wide**
1. Change the **Color scheme** setting. There are 3 options available:
    - **Light**
    - **Dark**
    - **System** (default) - automatically switch between light and dark based on user's system preferences

## Disable color scheme switcher

If you don't want to allow users to switch color schemes manually, you can disable color scheme switcher:

1. Go to **Settings → Site → Design & branding**
1. Click **Customize → Theme → Site wide**
1. Toggle the **Display color scheme toggle** setting
