# Blog Templates

Thesis comes with 3 predefined Blog page templates. To create a Page with template follow these steps:

1. Log in to Ghost admin
1. Go to **Pages**, click **New page**
1. Set the **Page title**
1. Open the **Page settings** sidebar and specify the **Page URL**, and **Excerpt**.
1. Select the **Page Blog**, **Page Blog Grid** or **Page Blog Empty** template from the dropdown
1. Click **Publish**

## Blog

In this template, posts displayed in the sidebar. In content area there are sections with Featured posts and Paid posts, 3 posts each. The number is a `limit` value in `partials/sections/posts.hbs`, see [Section Limits](/docs/guides/advanced-section-limits/).

## Blog Grid

In this templates posts displayed inside the content as grid.

## Blog Empty

In this template, posts displayed in the sidebar. In content area there are custom header with title, and excerpt.
